She holds a double degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Houston, one of the most diverse universities in the United States, located in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Houston. Her academic background has equipped her with a profound understanding of economic trends and human behavior, which she skillfully applies to her professional endeavors.
Lorna serves on the advisory board for International Projects of Estate Masters, where she provides strategic insights for large-scale real estate and development projects. Her role as an advisor to Sebastopol Refinery in Colombia underscores her expertise in the energy sector. Sebastopol Refinery, the first privately-owned refinery in Colombia, is pioneering efforts in hydrogen production, aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and climate change mitigation.
Lorna’s commitment to empowering women, minorities, and developing nations is evident in her numerous philanthropic and advisory roles. As the Secretary General of the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC), she plays a pivotal role in planning the Global Leadership Investment Summit and Awards Conference (GLISATEXAS2024). This significant event aims to promote trade, investment, and capacity building, with a special focus on African countries.
Lorna’s philanthropic work is extensive and impactful. She partners with non-profits such as African Peace Advocates (APA) and Houston Millennials (HM).
